The Southerly 57RS was designed by Ed Dubois and the Southerly Yachts design team to be a safe and elegant world cruising yacht that can be handled by two. The Southerly 42 features the highly developed Swing Keel which gives the freedom and versatility to sail in almost any waters. With the keel lowered (8' 11"), the deep draft makes for fast, serious cruising. At the ‘touch of a button’ the keel can be raised to give a shallow draft of just 2' 9" – perfect for shallow water exploring. When the Southerly 42RST was first developed, Humphreys Design commissioned a fast, modern hull for good performance, with the stability and comfort for cruising. Deck styling and a sociable cockpit layout with twin helm positions, designed by Stephen Jones, created one of the most comfortable and easy to sail cruising yachts available. BLUE SKY, 2006 Southerly 115 MK lV  is a true shoal draft swing-keel that is the perfect go anywhere cruising vessel that can be beached in a modest 2 ft of water, or offshore comfortable with a ballasted 8ft swing keel. This Southerly was built in the UK in 2006, near the end of production for the 115 series. The MK lV is a taller mast and heavier keel than its MK 3 predecessor, making it a better performing, more comfortable version. Blue Sky has been meticulously cared for by its owners who have cruised extensively in this vessel. The beautifully crafted interior is comfortable and uniquely laid out for a live-aboard couple.
