Very well-maintained 2007 Grady-White Advance 257 for sale. Excellent condition, with very low hours on two Yamaha 150's. Perfect boat for coastal fishing or for family crusing!
Includes completely upgraded dual-axle trailer, for reliable transport.
Additional Equipment
2017 Venture dual-axle aluminum trailer was extensively upgraded in April 2022. Improvements include two new axles and spring systems, upgraded brakes, 4 new radial tires, new electrical harness, new loading guide poles, and stainless steel lug nuts. The boat trailers exceptionally well with these upgrades. These $4,300 improvements make this trailer like-new.
Other features: Hydraulic trim tabs, combing bolster for added crusing comfort, new anchor rope and chain, dual batteries (new) and battery select switches, cockpit shower & wash down, automatic bilge pump (2800 GPM), low-profile 316 grade stainless bow rail, self-bailing cockpit with 4 drains, lockable electronics box, 316 grade stainless steering wheel with tilt, and more!
Currently has black bottom paint, and may soon be refreshed with navy blue bottom paint.
Mechanical Equipment
In April 2022 both engines underwent extensive preventive maintenance, including new water pumps, zincs, NGK sparkplugs, thermostats, fuel filters, and water seperators. Resealed both gear cases, prop shafts, and drive shafts. Complete oil & lube with YamaLube products and filters for both engines. All liquids and pumps on boat were checked.
The engines have low hours - about 650 each. I was told by the Yamaha service technition that about 40% of the hours were "idle hours", and that the engines are in outstanding condition.
Accommodations
High quality Grady-White Advance 257, perfect for family crusing and coastal saltwater fishing. Comfortable, smooth riding boat that has been well maintained. Full bow cushions, ample comfortable seating, and the bow insulated coolers / fishboxes make it great for family activities. A transom door, swim platform, and swim ladder make it easy to access the water.
It also has a lockable console with a stand-up head area, and includes storage shelves and a hanging locker. The portable head includes an in-line macerator and pump-off system.
The fishing features are extensive: two 120 quart insulated fish boxes with o/b drains in the bow area, a 185 quart insulated aft fish box, with a bait station built into the box lid, and a 32 gallon livewell with a full column distribution inlet & o/b drain with an 1100 GPH pump. There are 4 rod holders on the back of the leaning post, along with 2 knife & plier holders, lockable storage, and tackle trays. The hard T-Top also has 4 rod holders, and there is horizontal rod storage for 6 rods.
Navigation Systems
Two Garmin Echomap Series 60 units provide navigation, chartploting, and fishfinding capability. Software was updated in 2022 using the ActiveCaptain app. The two units enabled me to have the chart plotting open on one unit, and the depthfinder / fishfinder feature open on the other, which was great when trolling and crusing.
Deck and Hull Equipment
Grady-White boats come with extensive upgrades compared to many boats. My boat has an extended hard T-Top that provides nice shade for the cockpit when on the water.
