The Integrated Transom System from Mercury Racing combines a Bravo XR drive with hydraulic steering and an extension box.

Mercury Racing's Integrated Transom System combines a Bravo XR drive with external hydraulic steering and an extension box. The system features integral power steering cylinders and a lightweight, removable plastic cover that allows access to concealed hydraulic steering and trim hoses.

The gimbal bracket assembly of the drive has been strengthened with addendum ears for the attachment of the integral steering cylinders. Trim and steering cylinders, multi-mounted to the gimbal ring, transfer stress loads back to transom, increasing strength and durability. A built-in 7-inch setback (extension box) helps improve a boat's running attitude in certain conditions.

Performance upgrades to the Bravo One XR drive include a new upper housing cover and rear drive cap with built-in tie-bar attachment. The drive also comes with a lengthened heavy-duty input shaft and built-in electronic trim and tilt sender for use with digital trim gauges. New 1.26:1 and 1.35:1 gear ratio options, in addition to the standard 1.50:1 gear ratio, enhance the versatility of the durable XR drive.

Editor's note: Look for a hands-on review of the Integrated Transom System in the October issue of Powerboat magazine.
