The Godfrey Sanpan 2500LE offers everything a group needs for quiet-water cruising and entertaining.

For entertaining and leisurely cruising on quiet waters, it's tough to beat today's pontoon boats. Godfrey offers more than 30 of these functional cruisers, and the plush Sanpan 2500LE is the company's flagship.

The "LE" stands for "Luxury Edition," and the 25-foot-long, 8-foot-6-inch-wide pontoon boat is certainly that. Giant, L-shaped chaise lounge seating is in the forward section of the boat. Another L-shaped lounge is opposite of the helm, which is outfitted with a swiveling captain's chair, a tilt steering wheel and VDO instrumentation.

Naturally, the SP2500LE has an entertainment center. It includes a sink, 12-volt power outlets, an ice chest, drink holders and large stowage areas. Other amenities include a Sony CD stereo system, additional drink holders and stowage areas throughout the boat, and protective canvas on an aluminum frame.

The boat offers three boarding and debarking gates: one at the bow, one at the stern and one to starboard of the driver's console. The portside gate is wide enough for wheelchair access. Aft-area access is enhanced by a folding boarding ladder.

The 2,390-pound boat has a rated total-weight capacity of 2,395 pounds and can accommodate 16 passengers. Stern-drive engine packages of 155 and 210 horsepower are offered. Fuel capacity is 24 gallons.
